Willis Albert McGready

Willis Albert McGready, 88, of Peoria, AZ passed away on May 14, 2023. He was born July 16, 1934 in Toronto, CA to Albert and Ethel McGready.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Margaret Goddard.

Bert moved to Chicago along with his wife Beverly in 1959 to further his engineering career. They became very active in their church and community, making many new friends and started a family soon thereafter.

He loved spending time with his family, traveling and never lost his passion for the game of hockey. He was a devoted husband and caregiver to his wife who he loved so much.

Bert is survived by his wife of 64 years, Hilda Beverly, his daughters Charlene Hassell (Keith), Carrie Michelsen (Mark), Lisa Williams (Scott), seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A private ceremony will be held to celebrate Bert’s life. Rest in peace Bert, you will be missed by all who loved you.
