He was born on February 21 1947 in Evanston, IL.
He graduated from Tampa University with a Bachelors degree.
He worked at Al’s Deli since 1971 alongside Albert Pottinger and starting in 1979, John Pottinger. He was noted for his butter cookies and soups.
He took over twenty trips to Paris, his favorite spot being the Luxembourg Gardens where we hope to scatter his ashes.
Robert was survived by his two brothers, Richard and John.
A memorial meeting will be scheduled, time and date are yet to be determined.
