Patricia Ann Rowe

Patricia Ann “Pat” Rowe, nee Shanks, of Elk Grove Village, IL passed away peacefully at her home Friday, September 20, 2024. She was born on the south side of Chicago to her parents William and Anna Mae Shanks.

Pat was a proud member of the USNR (United States Naval Reserve). She was very proud of the work she did at a hospital for over 10 years.

Pat really enjoyed breeding and showing her babies at the dog show, especially when her grandson was by her side. She also took much joy in babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pat is survived by her children: Brenda Zamudio, Richard (Sylvia) Rowe, and Robert (Jill) Rowe. She was the proud grandmother of: Jennifer Proud, Lisa Rowe-Herres (Mike Herres), Michael (Katrina) Gotshall, Christen (Jason) Withers, David (Suzi) Zamudio, Ritchie (Ashley) Rowe, Paul Parrett, Samantha Rowe, Jo Anna Romano (Elizabeth Stone-Pincomb), Matthew (Jamie) Rowe, and Hunter “Jack” Rowe. Pat was also excited to be called "GiGi" by her many great grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna Mae Shanks; her son, William "Jack" Rowe; and her grandson, Jason Rowe.
