Milton Black (Shorty) of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin passed away on August 25th, 2024 at the age of 82 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born on October 8th, 1941 in Bronx, New York where he grew up. Milton’s father was in the Military and the family lived in several states before the final place he would call home Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Milton worked for Johnson Outboard in Waukegan IL, and retired from ITO of Bristol, WI. He was actively involved in fishing and bowling and spending time with his grandkids prior to being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2015.
Milton is preceded in death by his grandson. Cory Gonzalez Black; his parents Martin and Shirley Mack; grandparents Jacob and Nellie Moses and Harry and Dora Black; brothers, Noman Black and William Mack; and a sister and brother in-law, Jerry and Marlene Hove; and his sister, Marge Hardt.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Jane and Dean Dupler of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin; his son, Martin Black of Kenosha, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Sosa Gonzalez Black, Araceli Gonzalez Black, Alexis Gonzalez Black, Catalina Gonzalez Black, Martin Gutierrez and Jullian M Black; great-grandkids, Marley Castro Black and Louie Castro Black; sisters, Elaine and Bill Johnson, Cheryl and David Jester, and Lois Bolterman; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Milton's life will be held on Sunday, September 29th at 1:00 pm at 5511 6th avenue, Kenosha, WI, United States, 53140
