Our beloved Brother, Martin Allen Wood of Des Plaines, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, May 19. He is much loved and will be missed by all he left behind.
Martin was born February 10, 1953 in Chicago to Marvin and Elizabeth Wood. He attended Chicago schools graduating from Weber High School in 1971. He attended Morton College and worked in the electronics field for many years. Although he was a city boy, he loved the country: fishing, hunting, a little archery, a little golf, whenever he could.
He is survived by his brother and sisters: Mary Lewis, Patricia (Thomas) Kulasik, James Marvin (Nancy) Wood, Barbara (nee Wood) Jolley. He is Uncle to eleven nieces and nephews.
Martin was preceded in death by his Parents.
We will not be holding a memorial service but ask that you remember Martin in your thoughts and prayers.
