Martha Jean Stofcheck

Jean was born in Battle Creek, Michigan and attended Lakeview High School. She later moved to the Chicago area with her husband, Paul. Jean worked for Maine Township High School District 207 for 23 years.

Jean is survived by her husband of 58 years, Paul Stofcheck, her daughter Emily (Chad) Radtke, her son Gary (Jamie) Stofcheck, grandchildren; Lauren (Kyle) Shelton, Morgan (Mitchell) Morris, Nicholas Stofcheck, Olivia Radtke, and James Stofcheck, great grandson Emmett Shelton.

Jean was a kind and caring person who loved to watch sports (especially the White Sox), working out, going to the casino, and most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandson.

To honor Jean’s memory, we are hosting a celebration of life w at Tap House Grill, 56 W. Wilson St. Palatine, IL on Saturday, May 13th from 1:30-4:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
