Dear Allsup relatives and Oliver,
I’ve left several messages for Mark as we thought of each other during the holidays and new year. 
Mark and I often remarked in our 30 year friendship the telepathic connection which got us to call with the other saying: “I was just thinking about you.”
Maybe it was around the holidays or early ‘23 
when Mark told me he was in remission and we celebrated his recovery once more. As a medical social worker I know the ride is uncertain yet each good event is very worthy of celebrating. Mark was also giving me advice which is untypical of him about the need to live life fully garnered from his compassionate care when so many friends were dying. The certainty and passionate wisdom has stayed with me. 
I, like you, have benefited deeply from his presence and will now look for his spiritual guidance as I sense the truth that those we love are never gone.
