Marjorie M Perschke

Marjorie M. Perschke, age 89, passed peacefully at her Glenview, IL home on Sunday, April 8, 2018. She was born in Chicago, IL on October 25, 1928 to her loving parents Arthur and Nell (Van Der Beck) Mitchell and was the youngest of two children. Marjorie attended The American Academy of Art and in her 50’s, completed her Bachelor of Arts degree from Northeastern Illinois University. She had a passion for political science/law and spent the majority of her career as a paralegal. Marjorie was a very talented artist, seamstress and enjoyed literature. Her family fondly remembers her beauty, strong will, and unconditional love and support. What will most be missed is her incredibly infectious laugh and big smile. Marjorie is survived by her two children, Thomas Perschke and Johanna Embry; grandchildren Thomas Embry (Bonnie Corel), Steven Embry and Katharine (Nicholas) Malloy; great grandchildren Sam and Charlie Malloy; and her dear brother, Ralph Mitchell.
