She was the loving mother of Matthew, treasured sister of Louise R. Boothby (George) and Laura R. Radcliffe (Richard), and dear aunt of Catherine, G.H., Mark, and John. Bryan, her former husband, remained her close and supportive friend. Devoted parents Joan (nee White) and Edmund R. Renier pre-deceased her.
A life-long resident of the North Shore, Lisa had fond memories of growing up in Winnetka, attending New Trier High School, and hours spent at the Evanston School of Ballet. She explored her interest in art in high school, during the summers at Evanston Art Center, at Stephens College in Missouri, and Kendall College in Evanston. Family members and life-long friends remember the large, colorful carousel pony she created that hung from the ceiling of her parent’s porch.
As a member of Neighbors of Kenilworth and Kenilworth Home and Garden Club she enjoyed their lectures and social programs. Her life was further enriched by the many overseas travels she took with her beloved friends. For several years she taught at The Church of the Holy Comforter’s All Things Bright & Beautiful Preschool where she was delighted by the curiosity and social growth of the young children.
Lisa had many cherished friends and her generous spirit and friendly, easy manner will be missed by all who knew her.
In keeping with her wishes, Lisa was cremated and a celebration of her life will be held during the summer.
