Kenneth Ray Barker

Kenneth Ray Barker, 77, of Leyden Township, IL, passed away on June 13, 2023. Ken was born August 17, 1945, in Packsville, WV to Ray Barker and Agnus Richards Ashley. Ken proudly served his Country in the Army and Air Force and bravely fought in 2 tours of Vietnam, one tour for each branch. He married Joanne M. Kojis in November 1968, in Milwaukee, Wi. They were married 52 years until Joannes passing in 2020. Ken is proceeded in death by his wife Joanne Kojis Barker, his sister Linda Barker Stump, his brother-in-law Joe Stump, his sister-in-law MaryAnne Kojis Zopp, his father Ray Barker, his stepfather Elmer Ashley, his mother Agnus Richards Ashley, his sister Patricia and his mother-in-law Louise Kojis.

He is survived by a host of loving family members. Sons Christopher (46) and Ryan (39). Granddaughter Savannah Barker (20) (daughter of Christopher). Former Daughter-in-law Tracy Barker (mother of Savannah), Sister Sheila Ashley Campbell (Gene Campbell). Brother-in-law Albert Kojis (Phyllis Kojis), Brother-in-law, Joseph Kojis, Sister-in-law Linda Kojis Whalen (Steve Whalen), Brother-in-law Dennis Zopp (MaryAnn Kojis Zopp). Nieces, Sonia Stump Truman, (Tim Truman), Joann Stump, and Tina Stump Bene. Niece, Dawn Marie Nollinger. Niece Carrie Kojis, Anna Whalen. Nephew Joseph Wilson (son of Tina Bene). Nephews, Otis Dean, Sean Campbell, Eric Campbell. Nephews Scott Kojis, Jeremiah Kojis, Joshua Kojis, Justin Kojis, Jacob Whalen, Dennis Allen Zopp (Jeni), Zach Zopp (Mandy), Jonathon Zopp.
