Judith Suzanne Mendelson

Judith Suzanne Mendelson (Suzie) originally from Baltimore, MD but most recently living in Evanston, IL passed away on February 6, 2025 at the age of 86. She was born on June 14, 1938 in Baltimore, MD where she grew up with her mother and father and brother Richie.

She graduated from Boston University with a degree in physical therapy and worked as a physical therapist for much of her career.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Essie Gordon and by her daughter, Linda Van Stone

She is survived by her son, Jim Mendelson, his wife Amy, their children Scott, Alex and Elizabeth, her granddaughter Madison Van Stone as well her brother Richard Gordon and his wife Mia

Her fondest memories were growing up in Baltimore and playing basketball with Sue Willen and other friends. She also fondly recalled her life in Boulder, CO with her partner Barbara Gibbons.
