Joyce E Dever

She was born March 13, 1936 to Frank and Anna Satterfield. Joyce grew up in Waukegan, IL, where she graduated from Waukegan High School. She worked for Dr. Nate Tolwinsky in Waukegan, IL for many years. She had a great sense of humor and was always the life of the party.

Joyce married Dave Dever in Waukegan in 1953. They were happily married for 64 years. Joyce enjoyed golf, bowling softball, bingo and spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by her loving husband Dave; Children Gary (Jeanette) of Roseburg, OR ; Russ (Kim) of Gurnee, IL; Suzan (Robin) Aerne of Lake Villa, IL; Glen of Roseburg, OR; Grandchildren Talon, David, Lexie, Caitlyn and Nick Dever, Taylor and Kyle Aerne: Sisters Donna (Bud) Stemple, Bonnie Niemi, Babe Anderson; Brothers Hal (Joan), and Nellie Satterfield and sister-in-law Gail Dever She was preceded in death by her parents, Brothers Glenn, Cliff, Red, Wayne and Dale Satterfield, Sisters Fran Gibson, Anne Marcotte, Loy Paquette, Polly Goetz, and Sis Madigan.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. The family requests memorial donations be made to Journeycare Hospice Foundation 405 Lake Zurich Rd. Barrington, IL 60010 or the Alzheimers Association.
