Jean A Fisher

Jean A. Fisher of Huntley, IL and formerly of Buffalo Grove, IL passed away on Sunday June 4, 2023 at the age of 90 at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington, IL. She was born on November 15, 1932 in Chicago, IL to William and Irene (Skibbe) Day. She married Robert (Bob) Fisher on June 7, 1952 in Chicago.

She worked as a Health Care Clerk for 25 years for School District 21 in Wheeling, IL.

She and Bob loved spending time at their trailer at Rock River Leisure Estates in Edgerton, WI which they owned for over 40 years. Jean loved her Cubs and much to the dismay of the rest of her family, her Green Bay Packers.

Jean was preceded in death by son Robert (Bobby) Fisher, her parents, and her siblings William Day, Carol Baumgartner and Janet Jones.

She is survived by her husband Robert, daughters Mari (Tom) Smith, Patrice Marzano, and Beth (Mervin) Tuzon nine grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Northwestern Hospital in Huntley and the hospice staff at JourneyCare for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life to be scheduled for later this summer.
