Guy Fanelli

Guy shared 59 wonderful years of marriage with his loving wife, Franca (née Favia). Together, they built a beautiful family and raised two children, Angela Fanelli (Doug Ostapa), and Rosanna (Scott) Humphrey. He was a devoted grandfather to Samantha and Eleanor Humphrey, whom he adored and loved beyond measure.

Guy was the devoted son of the late Vincenzo and Angela Fanelli; dear brother of Michael (Maria) Fanelli and the late Patricia (Michael) Favia; fond uncle to several nieces and nephews; and trusted friend to many.

Guy built a life centered on kindness, hard work, faith, and love for his family. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on October 9, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with Funeral Mass immediately following at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 434 W. Park Street, Arlington Heights, IL 60005.
