After serving in the Navy, George attended DeVry Technical College in Chicago, Illinois, where he met Nora, his bride of nearly 60 years. They married in 1963, and shortly after moved to Baltimore, Maryland. During the next 5 years they welcomed 4 children and moved to Rochester, New York. George moved to Illinois in 1973, with a career transfer at Xerox Corporation bringing them close to Nora's family. Settling in Elmhurst, he continued to work and raise his family with Nora until his retirement.
George will be remembered by his family as a man who enjoyed sitting just close enough to listen, watch and enjoy them, and as having the best intentions for those he loved. He will be held close by the weight of the love in his heart he had for his family.
