Daniel Wayne Goodman

Daniel “Danny” Goodman, of Palatine Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at the age of 54 from a two year battle with pancreatic and liver cancer. Danny was born on July 25, 1967 in Amarillo Texas, where he grew up.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Peggy and Kenneth, sisters Cynthia and Marilynne, and brother Kenneth. Danny is survived by his wife, Jacqueline and his son, Tyler.

Danny graduated from West Texas A&M. He worked as Chief Operating Officer at Neighborhoods.com, a company he proudly co-founded along with the team at 55Places.com. Danny was actively involved in Habitat for Humanity.

Danny enjoyed traveling, cooking, grilling delicious meals while entertaining friends and family, drinking copious amounts of great wine, smoking cigars, spending time with his family, listening to his son’s band, reading, and discussing real estate. Danny also enjoyed coaching and mentoring business associates. Danny had the gift of being able to fit into any crowd. He made friends easily with anyone he met. He loved fiercely and deeply. We take comfort in knowing that Danny is now at peace surrounded by light and love.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life in his honor at the Drendel Ballroom at

Sun City Huntley, located at 12860 Del Webb Blvd, Huntley, Illinois, on Friday April 8th. Family will be receiving and greeting those in attendance from 12:00pm-12:45pm. Lunch will be served right after. Come and share your memories and favorite stories.
