Constance Marie Mascenic (nee Stinson) died on Aug. 7, 2017 at the age of 70. Beloved wife of Roy Mascenic, dearly loved mother of Denise (James) Rodd, Michael (Monica) Smith, Julie (Eric) Kelleher and Brandon Mascenic, preceded in death by precious daughter Christine Mary, loving grandmother of Joanna, Eric, Charles and Mary and great-grandmother of Damian, cherished sister of Donna, Patricia and William, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews, endeared to numerous cousins and treasured by countless friends. Born in Elk City, OK Feb. 27, 1947 and raised in Park Ridge, IL, Connie was a proud graduate of Maine South Class of 1965. She lived in Addison for 32 years. She was an activist for Americans with Disabilities and a facilitator for Multiple Sclerosis Society support groups where she impacted the lives of many. Connie loved the company of her family and friends especially in her home decorated for each holiday in the year. Gardening was her passion, and she graciously gave tours of hers to everyone to share her joy.
