Charles S Wolfgarth

Chuck loved golfing, travel but most of all his dogs. They meant everything to him. He grew up in Chicago’s NW side attending Chicago public schools and Wright Jr College. He worked for Commerce Clearing House from 1963-2001 and met Susan at Commerce in 1970. They married in 1974 and enjoyed 50 years of marriage. Chuck was a 39 year resident of his home in Wyngate of Barrington.

Chuck truly was a kind, loving man and will be missed terribly by all who knew him.

Chuck is survived by his beloved wife, Susan (nee De Salvo) Wolfgarth; siblings, Sandra (Frank) Wolfgarth Diliberto, Marykaye (Steve) Wolfgarth Depaul, Robert (Nancy) De Salvo, James (Janet) De Salvo and John (Beth) De Salvo; and nieces and nephews, Ben, Brian, Lauren, Chris, Stephan, James Jr., Lauren, Bradley and Suzi.

He was preceded in death by parents, Ben and Genevieve Wolfgarth; and in-laws, Robert and Deborah De Salvo.

Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 2:00p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Makray Memorial Golf Club, 1010 S Northwest Highway, Barrington, IL 60010.
