Charles Joseph Krieter

Charles (Dean) J. Krieter, 86, of Roselle passed away Thursday, February 6th. He was born June 28, 1938, in Evanston to Joseph and Marie Krieter. Dean was the beloved husband of Ruth A. Krieter for 55 years; father to Dean (the late Caryl), Diana (Lieke) and Andrew (Sheryl); grandfather of Daniel (Cassie), David (Claire), Kaelyn (Daniel), Kevin (Patricia), Morgan and Laurel and great-grandfather to Kyle, Jackson, Jude, Vivienne, Eliza, Ettalyn, Cole, Ivy, Kaleigh, Isla, and Quinn; brother of Robert (the late Roxanne), Donna Hauser (the late Chuck), Jackie, Marie Isely (Jeff), Joseph (Linda) and the late Joan and Celine. Dean will be missed for his playful sense of humor and his gift for bringing people together with warmth and hospitality. A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Itasca.
