Anthony is survived by his wife, Tamra (Chicago), son, Anthony, (Phoenix, AZ), mother, Theresa Armour-Williams (Chicago), and will be remembered lovingly by many cousins, aunts, an uncle and other relatives and friends.
Anthony is preceded in death by his grandmother, Helen Armour (Chicago), grandfather, Rev. Joseph Armour (Chicago) and uncle, Charles Shepherd (Chicago).
He was born in Chicago on February 10th, 1959, to Theresa Armour-Williams. Anthony was an only child. Anthony grew to be a tremendous athlete and lifelong sports fan, with his favorite sports being hockey and baseball, both to watch and play.
Anthony married Tamra Walton in 1981 with their son, Anthony, Jr., born in 1979, in attendance.
After Anthony graduated from high school, he worked full time in retail and facilities management, with numerous certifications in areas such as forklift operations and project management.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Anthony's name may be made to Paws Chicago, 1997 N. Clybourn Ave, Chicago, IL 60614, pawschicago.org, which will commemorate his love for animals, or the Glessner House, 1800 S. Prairie, Chicago, IL 60616, glessnerhouse.org, where he worked before his passing, and which has contributed an incredible amount of care and generosity into Anthony’s memorial service.
