Alma (Gail) Huntworth Nordman

Gail grew up in Seattle WA where she went to Lincoln High School and later graduated from the University of Washington in 1957 with a degree in Psychology. She married Arnold Ray Nordman on March 23, 1957. They welcomed their children, Lynn and Eric in 1962 and 1964 respectively.

After multiple moves throughout the country with the Army and then for Arnie to attend Graduate school and later employer relocations, Gail and Arnie settled in Wilmette, Illinois the summer of 1970.

Gail’s priority was raising her two children. She also enjoyed singing, traveling, gardening, walking, and earlier in life skiing and tennis. Spending time with her family and friends brought her great joy.

Gail retired from the travel business in 2001. She spent her remaining years singing, traveling, trying new hobbies, and supporting her friends and family. She was loved by all for her sense of humor and friendship.
