Adam was born on October 16, 1983, in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, and from the very beginning, he was full of life. He had a big personality, a sharp sense of humor, and a way of bringing energy wherever he went. He made people laugh, told great stories, and never missed a chance to make a moment more fun.
He was a natural athlete, tough and competitive, whether he was on the football field or the wrestling mat. One of his proudest moments came at the high school state wrestling tournament, when he upset a top-ranked opponent — a true underdog win that captured who Adam was: determined, fearless, and all heart.
Adam also loved fishing, especially with his dad, his friends, and his son. Some of his best memories were made by the water, rod in hand. He was also a proud Chicago Bears and Cubs fan, always ready to talk sports and support his teams.
More than anything, Adam was a devoted father to his son, Benjamin, who was the center of his world. He loved being a dad and took pride in the young man Benjamin is becoming.
Adam is survived by his son Benjamin, his mother Mary Ann, his brothers Charlie Ullrich and Barrett Ullrich, and his sister Tiffany McLaud, along with many extended family members and friends who loved him deeply.
He will be remembered for his strength, humor, and the love he gave so freely. He will be missed more than words can express.
A Memorial Service for Adam will be held on Thursday, July 10th at 3:00 p.m. at the Long Grove Community Church, 1110 Robert Parker Coffin Road, Long Grove, Illinois 60047. A Celebration of His Life will follow at The Village Tavern of Long Grove, 135 Old McHenry Road, Long Grove, Illinois 60047. Interment Private.
