William Keith Cunningham

William Keith Cunningham died on February 16, 2026, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. William was born in Ukiah, California on August 3, 1965. He spent his life helping others in any way that he could. He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for most of his life and was a part of the mine rescue team at Kinross, Bald Mountain. He volunteered his time helping members of the community. William loved to cook and often shared with those closest to him. He is preceded in death by his partner of 20 years Lashevra Howard, along with two of his stepchildren, Monique Howard (26) and Brandon Howard (26). He is survived by his mother Mary French (80), Jay Cunningham (Erica Cunningham), Kyna Cunningham (Michael Wright), William “Tevynn” Cunningham, and Bryanna Cunningham. He also had 8 grandchildren, Luka, Arissa, Angelina, Mckenzy, Aurora, Ikaia, Elizabeth, and Nathaniel. There will be a celebration of life for William held at a later date. William was a great man, a wonderful father and son. He will be missed beyond measure. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as they make their way through this tragedy. William was deeply loved and his memory will go on in all those who knew him.
