Robert "Doug" Douglas Rowe

Robert Douglas Rowe “Doug” age 79, of Sparks Nevada passed away on July 27, 2026 in Reno Nevada. He served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Enterprise, stationed in Japan. After his military service, he worked for General Motors. In his free time, he enjoyed sidecar racing and pursued lifelong hobbies that included model trains, reading, and painting.

He met his wife, Judie Day, through the Singles Register in 1990. Known for his generous spirit, he was always ready to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and neighbors.

Doug Rowe is survived by his wife, Judie Day; son, Joe Day; sister, Ellie Love; brother-in-law, John Latvala; nephews Craig Buchholz and Tim Spier; and nieces Beth Stanley, Lyndi Johnson, Holly Spier, and Amy Spier.

A Memorial Service will be held on August 10th at 10:30 am at Cook’d restaurant located at: 7671 South Virginia St.,Reno, NV 8951.
