Marian Edith Bremel

Marian, born October 22, 1950, was the youngest of five children to Bob and Margaret Bailey.

She is survived by her children, Lori Bailey and Rick Bremel; daughter-in-law, Heidi; grandson, Quin; granddaughter-in-law, Nichole; great-granddaughter, Avery; and two sisters, Mable and Christina.

Marian, known as “Dusty” by her friends, had a strong love for her family, her friends, and the outdoors.

Marian had a reputation in the community as someone who was a hard worker and someone who was loyal to her friends through good times and bad. She loved being outside and took comfort and solace in enjoying the wonders of creation. Along with her friend, Mike, she loved searching for gemstones and panning for gold. The quiet and beauty of the Sierra Nevadas brought her joy.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

In harmony with Marian’s wishes, there will be a memorial to be held in the spring in Quincy, California.
