Louis Joseph Steidl

Lou is survived by his brother Phillip Steidl, his sister-in-law Connie Steidl, and his nephew Mark Steidl.

Lou was born in Paris, Illinois in 1947 and raised in Camarillo, California. He joined the U. S. Air Force the same year he graduated from Chico State University in 1969.

After his service in the U. S. Air Force he began his career as Freelance System Analyst in California until he retired.

In 2015 he moved to Reno, Nevada, and was enjoying his retirement in Sun City. Lou could be seen most mornings at the Aspen Lodge reading the newspaper by the fireplace or on his daily walks greeting his neighbors. He couldn’t always remember their names, but did know all their dogs names. The dogs were happy to see Lou because he always had a treat in his pocket.

He will be missed.
