She was born May 7, 1960, to Bruce and Karen Ekberg in Seattle, Washington. Kellie graduated from Interlake High School in Bellevue, Washington, in 1978.
After high school, she moved to Susanville. She attended Lassen Community College, where she earned associate degrees in business management and accounting. In 1998, she moved to Quincy, where she resided until her death.
Kellie is survived by sons, William Pingree and Michael Tucker; mother, Karen Ekberg; daughters-in-law, Jamie Pingree and Amber Tucker; granddaughters, Elora Pingree and Lillian Pingree; and her dog, Jack.
