Joyce Ann ten Bensel

Joyce Ann ten Bensel of Minden, NV, who was born to Robert Bailey and Anna Mae Phillips at Mena, AR on July 1, 1937, passed away at Minden while a home hospice care patient on October 14, 2026. She and her siblings were raised at Mena by her maternal grandmother Della Duncan Phillips.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband William R. ten Bensel of Minden; sons Charles Lee Eaton of Placerville, CA, and Scott Lovelace of Indio, CA; daughter Maria Maither of Lahaina, Maui, HI; grandsons Corey Eaton (Amelia) of Diamond Springs, CA, and Braiden Maither of Maui; granddaughter Kamala Maither of Maui; and great grandchildren Chase and Bryne Eaton of Diamond Springs.

Joyce was preceded in death by former spouses Richard Ernest Eaton and Vernon Elliott Lovelace, as well as sons David Wayne Eaton and Donald Eugene Eaton.

Joyce had a close, loving and reciprocal relationship with all of the members of her family. She also valued the relationship she had with her many close friends, and looked forward to those evenings on which they gathered to play various card and other games.

Her ashes will be interred at the Amador Memorial Cemetery in Pioneer, CA.

A memorial gathering is contemplated for a future.
