Jerri Bateman

SPARKS - Jerri was born in Tooele, Utah on October 5, 1943 to Buelah and Earl Bateman. She attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah, graduating with degrees in Business Management, Accounting and Economics.

In 1979 she moved to Sparks, Nevada and located a condo that she made into her forever home, and was always her comfort zone. She was at peace there until the end.

She worked at Security Bank of Nevada as VP and Controller, then on to Farm Credit, where she was the VP and CFO, staying there until her retirement.

Jerri enjoyed her relaxed lifestyle, and loved to spend time with her many friends. She was an early riser and was often the first one at the pool to get those laps in, while earning the title of “swimmer lady” to many. Jerri was preceded in death by her parents and big brother Dave. She is survived by her daughter, Wendy, grandson, Brady, nephews Scott (Bridget), Brooke (Marshelle), niece Robin (Alex) and many grand nieces and nephews.

Jerri had a small army of friends, some being more family than friend. The one she worried about most was her cat, Ozzy. Jerri will truly be missed, but it is also a god send to not see her in pain anymore. Happy travels to you beautiful person!
