Isabell Axtell

Axtell, Isabel Staus - Age 89 years Passed away on May 28, 2017 in her home in Reno, Nevada. She was born January 5, 1928 in Or, ND and attended Manville H.S., graduating in 1946. On October 18, 1947 Isabel married Beryl Axtell in Grand Forks, ND. In 1948 they moved to Reno, Nevada. Through the years, she was a teacher's aide at Billinghurst Jr. H.S. until it closed, worked at UNR's Wolf Den and the Judicial College. She was involved in youth programs with her husband; as scorekeeper and friend to all the kids for Little League, babe Ruth and Connie Mac baseball. She loved to camp and fish with her family. Isabel was predeceased by her parents, 2 sisters and 5 brothers. She is survived by her husband Beryl of 68 years, one son, Danny and one daughter, Sheryl both of Reno. Three granddaughters, three great granddaughters and three grandsons and one great-great granddaughter all from Idaho. Isabel will be missed by her family and friends.
