Gerald Dale Zabo

“Jerry” was born on March 6th, 1942 in Gary, Indiana. He graduated from IIT in Chicago and worked and retired from RR Donnelley and Sons starting in Chicago and eventually relocating to Reno. Jerry was an avid Chicago Bears fan and loved to travel, RV, and go on cruises as well as spend time with his family and dogs.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Karen Zabo, his children Jill (Carl) Bailey and Stacey (Chris) Frattinger, his grandchildren Annalicia (Anton) Folkman, Brian (Samantha) Zabo, Jada (Gabe) Kellum, Brenna Pyatt, Camryn, Kai, and Carson Frattinger, and great grandsons Leonidas Kellum and Charlie Zabo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Sylvia Zabo.

In lieu of flowers, please send chocolate, love, and support. A celebration of life is scheduled for May 20th, 2023 for close friends and family.
