You have been an inspiration to so many people. You had such a big heart and I will carry your memories with me forever.

David was a great friend for over 50 years. He always was smiling and ready to go have some fun. David really cared about others, taking every opportunity to help others with their career or personal matters. He was also the most generous person I have known, he really set a beautiful example. It looked like David would outlast the prostate cancer as he held it off for over twenty years, but it was not to be. It was sad to witness the intense pain he suffered at the end and the massive doses of pain meds he took and the horrible unintended consequences they create. I immensely enjoyed the time David and I spent together, a better friend I could not have asked for.
He will be missed.
