Jackson, Mt. Chocorua, Wildcat Mountain, Mt. Washington, and other mountains along the Appalachian trail. His love of canoeing took him to the Allagash waterways in Maine a number of times. Later in life he continued to explore, finding a new favorite in the trails of Petra, the archaeological city of southern Jordan. Last year, at 78 years young, on a visit to Southern Utah he rafted the Colorado River, survived the Hell’s Revenge UTV trail, hiked the Narrows at Zion, and watched the sunrise over Mesa Arch at Canyonlands. He was a proud supporter and member of the US National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands.
