Sandra Renee Coltey

Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother whose main focus and mission in life was her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Perrin Coltey (father), Sydney Church (stepfather), and Virginia Church (mother); son, David Bayles; brother, Walter Coltey; sister, Pam Carpenter; and 2 husbands, Russell Bayles and Harold Quimby.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Cherie Thomas and husband, Keith; son, Harry Mills; grandchildren, Joshua Moon, Rebecca MacGowen and husband, Matt; and Jennifer Stephens and husband, David; and great-grandchildren, Emma, Jackson, Isabella, Kayleigh, Willow, Kinley, Gander and Camdyn. Also surviving are her stepsister, Marilyn Church; stepbrother, Sydney Church; cousins, Judy Barber and Peter Barberio; stepchildren, Laura Brooks and husband, Todd, and Harold Quimby and wife, Sandy.

God looked around his garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth and saw your weary face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful; he always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain, he knew that you would not get well on this side of life again. God saw how dim your light was growing, how hard to hear his blessings, how distant he must have begun to seem despite his words of encouragement so the Lord had mercy on his servant he heard your weakening plea. And there came that day when he closed your eyes and whispered "Blessed Assurance" words we now were comforting. It troubled us to lose you during these grim times, but we are blessed to know that our Lord sweet Jesus could never do you wrong. And in those final hours in this weary place, we shared a faith knowing that you were not alone for the Lord was there to carry you, when he called you home.
