Robert William “Bob” Crenshaw

Robert William “Bob” Crenshaw, age 49, of Cary, North Carolina passed away on July 16, 2023. He was born in Rolla, Missouri on October 30, 1973 to Robert James “Bob” Crenshaw and Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Wade Crenshaw.

Bob attended Apex High School, Apex, NC and completed his G.E.D. in 1992. In 1994, he joined the US Navy where he served as a ship’s serviceman until 1998. He received a BS in Information Technology from the Columbia College of Missouri in Gurnee, Illinois and an MBA with a concentration in Information Systems Management from Keller Graduate School of Management – DeVry University.

He worked as an IT specialist.

He enjoyed games of all kinds — board games, role-playing games, and video games such as Minecraft, Animal Crossing, and Diablo.

Bob is survived by a daughter, Isabelle Aromin Crenshaw, 22, of Gurnee, Illinois and a son, Robert Nicasio Crenshaw, 20, who is serving in the US Navy. In addition to his children, he is survived by his parents, Robert and Elizabeth Crenshaw of Fuquay Varina, NC and five siblings: Heather McKeon (Mark), of Fuquay Varina, NC; Laura Chabo (Travis), of Winterville, NC; Susan Estes (Todd), of Fuquay Varina, NC; Michael W. Crenshaw of Fuquay Varina, NC; and, John D. Crenshaw (Amanda), of Fuquay Varina, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 6 – 7:30 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2540 Broad Street, Fuquay Varina, North Carolina. A private burial service will be at the Holly Springs Cemetery in Holly Springs, North Carolina.
