Philip Thomas West

Tommy was born October 14, 1936 in Delaware. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and retired after 22 years of service. Later in life, he joined the VFW where he truly enjoyed the new friends he made over the years. Tommy loved this country that he served. He always wants to be remembered with laughter and no tears. If you ever met him, you would know how happy and good natured he was to all.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 14 years, Mildred Joyce; his children, Melissa, Randy, Deonna and Philip J. (Bruce); his step children, James Parker and wife Renee; his sisters, Nancy and Felicia; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and all of his wonderful friends that will cherish him with fond memories for years to come.

He will be laid to rest in Georgia next to his first loving wife of 47 years, Bea, at a future date.
