Mark Edward Carlson

Mark graduated from Fairmont State University. He went on to work in finance with several banking institutions over the years. He then transitioned to the NC Department of State Treasurer in financial operations.

Mark enjoyed playing golf and basketball with close friends. He had a strong passion for the Lord, a keen interest in history, and of course a very strong love for his Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and WVU Mountaineers. And more recently, he developed a love for gardening with his wife.

In addition to his beloved wife of 27 years, Sabrina, he leaves behind his father; brother, Carl Jr.(wife Michele); brother in law, Christopher Graves; and uncle, Jack Ballantyne.

Honoring Mark’s final wishes, there will be no services. Neptune Society is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
