Edward W. Dwier

Born on November 3rd, 1939, in Barrington, New Jersey, he was the only child of Edward M. and Marion Dwier. Edward grew up with a love of playing baseball throughout high school and graduated from Haddonfield High in New Jersey in 1957.

Edward married June Miller in 1958, and they went on to have two sons and a daughter. Edward earned college degrees in business administration from Rutgers and Northwestern and had a long career in the housing/construction industry, before retiring to spend more time golfing and enjoying life.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Diane Weller. He is survived by his wife, June of Leland, NC; his sons, Robert Dwier of Raleigh, NC, and Tom (Dawn) Dwier of Wichita, KS; three grandsons; two granddaughters; and one great-grandson.

The family would like to thank Liberty Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in his final days.

A celebration of life will take place at 11:30am on August 8th, 2026 at the chapel in Oleander Memorial Gardens in Wilmington NC.
