Doris Irene Prill

Doris Irene Prill, 98, passed away peacefully September 24, 2026, in Burlington, North Carolina. She was born on March 26, 1928 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the only child of Homer and Yetta DeLisle.

Doris was an avid reader, puzzler, bingo player and QVC enthusiast.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William J. Prill, Sr., her grandson, Timothy P. Carroll and her sons-in-law Eugene Gartrell and Robert Cassidy, Sr.

She is survived by her children: Katheryne Prill Cassidy, Khristin Prill Carroll and husband John, Karen Prill Gartrell-Allen and husband Michael, William J. Prill, Jr and wife Marcia, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She will be interred beside her Beloved Bill in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
