Audrey Gail Williford

Up until a few years ago, Audrey was an active member of Grace Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Happiness Sunday School Class. She worked at the Durham Exchange Club Industries in her younger days. Audrey received a certificate when she graduated from the Durham Public School System in 1974. There she had wonderful teachers who taught her to read, write, and tell time. These were life skills used daily.

Audrey has joined her parents, Joe and Iretice Williford, in Heaven. She is survived by her sister, Tammy Rutledge and husband, Henry; nephews, Russell Rutledge and wife, Amanda, and Ryan Rutledge and wife, Tabitha; and great nieces and nephews, Kayleigh, Eleanor, Brayden, and Juliette Rutledge. She also had a long time imaginary boyfriend, Bill, whom she loved dearly.

The family would like to thank all of her caregivers through the years that looked after her and spent time with her going on walks, bowling, doing arts and crafts, shopping, and various activities. We would also like to thank the staff at Brookshire who treated her with much love and compassion during her time there.

She will be missed.
