Born on September 7, 1946, in Kingston, Jamaica, Yvonne was the beloved daughter of Terrance Llewellyn Reynolds and Yvonne Agnes Reynolds (née Mattar). In 1977, she bravely made the journey to the United States, where she would go on to build a fulfilling life and proudly become a U.S. citizen in 1992.
Yvonne was a woman of grace, resilience, and determination. She realized her lifelong dream of becoming a cosmetologist and was deeply cherished by a devoted clientele who valued not only her talent but also her warmth and spirit. She was a strong, independent woman who worked tirelessly to support and uplift her family.
Above all, Yvonne’s heart belonged to her family—especially her three treasured granddaughters, whom she adored as their proud “Nana.” Her unwavering faith guided her through life, and she joyfully accepted Christ’s gift of salvation. Yvonne remained a devoted believer and servant of her Savior throughout her life. We rejoice in knowing she is now in His eternal presence.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Lloyd Reynolds, Terence Llewellyn Reynolds, and Joseph Ralph Anthony Reynolds, and her twin sister, Elaine Annette Greene.
Yvonne is lovingly survived by her daughter Michelle Antoinette Phelan (David), her son Anthony Leigh MacKenzie Jr. (Nicole), her beloved granddaughters Ava Laurel, Audrey Lyla, and Addison Leigh, and her brother Patrick Reynolds (Carmen).
She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and strength that will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.
