He was born in Plantation Florida. William is survived by his parents, Theresa and Bill Sadowski; uncles, George and Kenny; surrogate grandmother Nora Lekas; and many many friends.
Our son William Henry Sadowski made us laugh and smile every day. He showed his love to us daily.
William possessed a quick wit and humor. He was a great storyteller - stories of days waiting tables, building machines with Mandarin workers, and such. He would use his phone to translate. Bill and I looked forward to hearing of his tales, which were mostly funny and entertaining.
William put himself into any job he took, from waiting tables, salesman at a head shop, working on yachts - he even excelled at glass blowing.
Fifteen years ago he answered an ad for a glass cutter. He learned under Mark. He soon mastered the craft and made it his own for 15 years. His talent was known and desired by so many.
William was a devoted friend, each one loved and cherished as sibling. He lent a helping hand whenever and wherever needed.
Uncle Will loved his nieces and nephews. He delighted in carefully choosing gifts for them.
William was a great son and friend. He will be surely missed by all.
A memorial service will be held for William on January 18, 2026 from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm at Champions Hall Community Center 6601Boulevard of Champions North Lauderdale, Florida 33068.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Food for the Poor (Coconut Creek) or Eagles' Haven.
