Vincent R. (“Vinny”) Mutarelli if Delray Beach passed Away Sunday, March 2 at the age of 84. He was born on June 3, 1940, in New York City, where he lived until moving to south Florida in 1986. He earned his B,A, from Hunter College and his MBA from Long Island University.
In New York he was a junior officer of Bankers’ Life for twenty years. In Florida he contracted to teach computer programs for a computer retailer, community colleges, and eventually the Austin Hepburn Senior Center in Hallandale. He was active in church (St. Joseph’s) where he played in the handbell choir. He also prepared and present hour-long solo handbell programs, accompanied by his ling-time partner and mentor James Poch. In addition, he was active in community theatre, performing at Delray Beach Playhouse, Lake Worth Playhouse, Curtain Call Playhouse, and Boynton Beach Playhouse.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent John Mutarelli and Mary Mutarelli, and his brother Michael Mutarelli. He is survived by his partner of 45 years, James Poch, his brother Peter Mutarelli, and his son Vincent J. Mutarelli/
