extended illness. He was surrounded by his loving family including his wife of 65 years, Daun.
He is survived by his six children 15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren as well
as his younger brother Warren Michael Lisec, 85 of Chicago, Illinois.
He had resided in Jupiter Farms Florida since the Early1990s and was known for having
transitioned from a highly successful career in Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch during 30
plus years to become a gentleman rancher. His love of Arabian horse breeding and his
foundation stallion Whistlin Wind V occupied most of his time as did his beloved Morgan
carriage horse “Tanker” who was often seen driving around the farms with his favorite Jack
Russell terrier “Maggie Russell”.
Born June 13, 1935 in Oak Park Illinois “Ted” served in the US Navy submarine corps from
1953 until 1958 on the USS Batfish stationed in Key West before returning to Illinois to marry
Daun and pursue his degree at the University of Illinois Aeronautical College. From there he
was employed by Cessna Aircraft and subsequently relocated to Indianapolis where soon
thereafter he became an employee of Merrill Lynch. His career flourished with the growth in
the municipal bond market and his ultimate position was as Managing Director of Municipal
Trading and Underwriting in New York City"
