Ronald Joseph Dhaveloose, a beloved brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on Sunday, December 8th, leaving a legacy of love, laughter, and authenticity. Known for his infectious laugh and loving heart, Ron brought joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His unwavering generosity and welcoming spirit made his and Sandy’s home a haven for family, friends, and neighbors alike.
Born to Mariette and Camiel Dhaveloose, Ron cherished the values of hard work and community from a young age. A skilled welder and craftsman, he was respected for his dedication and talent. As a cornerstone of his community, he was always ready to lend a helping hand, earning the respect and affection of everyone around him. Ron loved nature, enjoying his time hunting and fishing in the great outdoors, but there was nothing he loved more than his family.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Valerie Baker. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sandy, with whom he built a life of love; his children, Jason (and wife Erin) and Melanie; and his grandsons, Patrick, Jase, and Jackson, who were a constant source of pride and joy.
He is also survived by his sisters, Diane and Marybeth, his brother-in-law Pete, and his nieces and nephews: Kristen, Jaimi, Ryan, and Kyle, who held a special place in his heart.
Ron’s legacy will live on in the hearts and memories of those who knew him and in the countless lives he touched with his kindness, laughter, and creativity.
A celebration of Ron’s life will be held on Saturday, February 1st at 12pm at Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek at the Fritillary Pavilion at the South Entrance.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported and loved Ron throughout his life. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
