Robert Alan Reiner

Born and raised in Paramus, New Jersey, Rob was the beloved son of Barnett (Barney) and Ruth Reiner. He carried his strong family values and entrepreneurial spirit with him throughout his life, beginning his business journey with his first company, Tara’s Tools. That venture marked the start of a successful career that later included TEKK Supply and Ultimate Tools. But for Rob, business was never just about sales—it was about building relationships and helping others succeed.

Rob’s greatest passion was giving back to his community. A true advocate for local businesses, he founded KOMIM Kares (Keeping Our Money in Margate), an initiative devoted to supporting and promoting Margate's local economy. His belief in the power of community led him to run for city commissioner—not as a politician, but as a neighbor who simply wanted to make a difference. His heart was always in the right place, and that spirit of selflessness defined who he was.

Rob was a devoted husband to Eveline Reiner, a proud and loving father to Tara Rowek (and husband Lou), Eric Reiner (and wife Lisa), Kyle Reiner, and Kalel Reiner, and the cherished grandfather of four beautiful grandchildren: Austin, Brianna, Jenna, and Scarlett. He is also survived by his sisters Elise Wrangen (and husband Ward) and Gayle Thomas (and husband Tom), along with many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and close friends who considered him family.

To know Rob was to love him. He was a man of deep integrity, warmth, and generosity—an uncle, brother-in-law, mentor, and great friend to many. Whether offering a helping hand, words of encouragement, or simply his time, Rob made everyone feel seen, valued, and supported.

His impact on the community and in the lives of those who knew him will live on. Though he may be gone from our sight, Rob’s legacy of kindness, service, and love remains forever in our hearts.

A celebration of Rob’s life will be announced by the family in the coming days.
