Robert (Bob) Andrew Jozwiak Bob Jozwiak, aka "Bobby J" and "Good Ole Bob", born in Bayonne, New Jersey on May 15, 1931, peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Bob is preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth (Shafranko) Jozwiak and father Ignatius Jozwiak, and his three brothers, Stephen Jozwiak, George Jozwiak, and Ronald Jozwiak. In 1971 Bob with his wife Marge and their five children moved from Bayonne to Davie knowing South Florida was best for them. Bob's passion for painting lead to a very successful professional career as a much sought after project manager for painting new construction and private homes. Bob was full of life and young at heart. With his outgoing personality and love of socializing he had friends wherever he went. Bob was also very creative and was always working on projects around the house. He even envisioned inline skates decades before they appeared on the market. Evidence of Bob's artistic talent and creative drive is seen throughout his home. From his beer can airplane to the creative architectural work for his in-wall entertainment center to his homemade Christmas decorations, drawings, paintings, and much more, Bob was a one-of-a-kind creative marvel. He definitely thought outside of the box. Bob was an avid gardener as well. He enjoyed tending to what he referred to as his "pineapple plantation". He also grew staghorns and coconut trees, which are scattered throughout South Florida at the homes of many of his friends and family. Bob was a proficient bowler as were his his brothers and his dad Iggy (who was inducted into the Bowlers Hall of Fame). This talent was passed down to his grandson Christopher Gott who has won bowling awards of his own. Bob's last years were spent enjoying his family and friends. He loved his furry companions Dixie (dog) and Murphy (cat) and kept busy tending to his pineapple garden, crafts, and enjoyed sitting out by his lake. Bob leaves behind his ex-wife and dear friend Marge Jozwiak of Davie, FL; his children, Joanne Cates (husband Scott Cates) of Key West, FL; Bobby Jozwiak (Cheryl Johnson) of Sugarloaf Key, FL; Christine Husebo of Davie, FL; Elizabeth Gott (husband Brian Gott) of Palm Bay, FL; and Jennifer Barrett (husband Bryan Barrett) of Sunrise, FL. Also surviving him are his grandchildren, Shannon Michaud, Christopher Cates, Jenelle Jozwiak, Jason Jozwiak, Danielle Sodhi, Jennifer Husebo, Christopher Gott, and Carrie Winchell. Also his great-grandchildren, Brent, Brandon, Dale, Dylon, Ryan, Kyle, Aubrey, Alex, Jake, Alexis, and Brayden, and his great-great-granddaughter Blaire. As per our dad's wishes we will hold a private ceremony at a future time. Instead of sending kindnesses, such as flowers, please just think of him fondly and hug your loved ones because life is way too short.
