December 13, 2024, in Hobe Sound, Florida, at the age of 92. Born on December 24, 1931, in Rhinebeck, New York, he was the son of Howard and Lillian Fraleigh, who predeceased him.
Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy before returning to his hometown of Rhinebeck. There, he owned and operated Fra-leigh Real Estate & Insurance Agency, becoming
a respected member of the community. He was deeply involved in local organizations, including the Rhinebeck Fire Department, Neighbors Gun Club, and Rhinebeck Rotary Club. Additionally, he served on the board o f the First National Bank of Rhinebeck.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Bob found joy in athletics throughout his life. After retiring to Jensen Beach, Florida, he continued his passion for sports by playing in a senior softball league for many years. Beyond his love for sports, Bob dedicated countless hours to volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, reflecting his commitment to helping others.
Bob is survived by his sons Dennis (Susan) of Hobe Sound, Florida, and Patrick of Alhambra, California; as well as his former wife Angela of Highland Beach. He was predeceased by his brothers John and Richard.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date to honor his memory and legacy. Bob's dedication to his community and family will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort and inspiration to those whose lives he touched.
