After graduating from General Motors Institute with a degree in Engineering, he followed his passion in the 1960’s to become a hair stylist and worked many years at Jordan Marsh in Miami.
Lee traveled the world to Europe, Cuba, China, Israel, Egypt, and Vietnam, and he enjoyed activities such as kayaking, windsurfing, biking, and inline skating. Lee personified a life well lived. He was beloved by his friends and family near and far.
He was preceded in death by his Partner, Victor Glaser, his parents, Robert and Lavone Baker, and his sister Marilyn Baker.
He is survived by his son Gregory L. Streck (Lisa), brother Alan (Nannette), three grandchildren, a great granddaughter, and nephews.
Lee enjoyed many cultural activities with his large circle of friends in south Florida, and the country.
