

Dick grew up in many cities/states, moving many times. After attending several high schools, he joined the US Navy. He spent 4 years in the Navy, 3 years on the USS Guinard, DD706 as a Radioman E6. After the Navy, he worked several jobs until working at the Worcester Telegram and Gazette. His next stop was at the Concord Monitor in Concord NH for 15 years. Then working for Hendrix/Hastech, in Manchester NH, where he traveled throughout the US and abroad, installing and teaching text editing computing at newspapers and magazines, for 8 years. He finished his working career at the State of NH, Department of Safety as a Technical Support Specialist. After retiring in 2001, he moved to Stuart FL, where he has been an active member of the board of directors at his condominium complex.
Dick enjoyed traveling and managed to visit 46 states and 50+ countries. He enjoyed cruising and especially enjoyed summers at the family cottage in Point O Woods, Old Lyme, CT.
Dick married Marion Smith, of Springfield MA, in 1959 in New York City.
He leaves his wife of 64 years Marion; 3 children, Richard Hull Jr (Wendy) of Venice FL, Roy Hull (Diane) of Hooksett NH and BettyJo Sutherland (Merl) of Manchester NH; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a brother Bob (Janice) in Stuart Fl. He was predeceased by a daughter Patricia, a grandson Christopher, and a brother Raymond.
